The Kanin Look is the signature color grade used by Kanin Films across recent content and select client projects.
With your purchase, you’ll receive two distinct looks:
The Kanin Look – a stylized, neutral grade designed to enhance most types of footage while maintaining a clean, cinematic feel.
The Kanin Film Look – a film emulation inspired by Kodak 2383 Print Film, built using DaVinci Resolve’s native tools for a textured, organic aesthetic.
Both looks are included as PowerGrades (.drx files) for DaVinci Resolve users and as LUTs for wider compatibility.
The LUTs are built for Rec.709, making them universal across most cameras and workflows.
If you’re working with LOG footage, make sure to convert it to Rec.709 first before applying either Kanin LUT.
